Sorry to bring this up, but I've had a few obssessed United in wake of Jose's recent 'inside information' comments that he still wants the United Job.
I personally believe that he was always going and wanted to go back to Chelsea and the only thing stopping him was his realtionship with RA which is generally over hyped by the Chelsea haters as some massive grudge between the two.
United fans use Jose's comments after the CL game with Real (As if he hasn't praised the better-losing side before) as an indicator that he wanted the United job, yet they say Fergie didn't want him.
So if Fergie never wanted him, why did he spend an hour licking Jose's backside on his special documentary?
Anyway glad we have him back

Clearly if he fancied a crack at the Utd job, it would be bad PR to say that now he is at Chelsea. That is why I ignore recent quotes from him on the topic that others put forward.
-------------------------------------------------
So why are you ignoring past quotes as well then Gunner ?
You are rather conveniently ignoring the fact that many of Jose's positive quotes about Chelsea were made while he was Real Madrid manager and even before that.
The famous CNN interview for example where he said he would love to come back to manage Chelsea and would have no problem working under Roman again. That interview happened while Jose was Real Madrid manager.
It's as if you are trying to claim that Jose only said positive things about Chelsea after he came back to Chelsea, which simply is not true.
Jose has repeatedly said over the last few years that he loves Chelsea and would come back to manage Chelsea.
If you choose to believe that Jose was lying through his teeth whenever he said positive things about Chelsea then so be it, but don't try and make out that Jose only started saying positive things once he actually came back to Chelsea.

All that can be said for definite is Man U would snap Romans arm off if he offered a straight swap Jose for Moyes.
Anyone disputing that?

Utd fans
he told Old Taggart he was coming back to Chelsea. He told him when old taggart told Jose he was stepping down. If anything he was sounding out Jose.

With Fergie choosing his successor I find it very hard to believe that Fergie didn't approach Jose about the Utd job - especially as Fergie and Jose are pals.
Nobody is going to be able to convince me that Fergie would have wanted Moyes ahead of Jose.
In my opinion all the evidence points to Jose rejecting the Utd job in favour of a return to Chelsea - a club he maintained was always in his heart and that he would return to manage.

Mourinho always covers his bases.
Madrid, Mates with Ferguson, Chelsea at heart, Portugal job, England job, Boris' job.

Jose wanted Manc U job but thank God he didn't become their manager and became Chelsea manager which was for me as a Chelsea fan.
