Too harsh on Cesc?

What do you think of Dan Roan's comment at the BBC? "The way he and Barcelona bullied Arsenal into submission reflected poorly on both. ". Too harsh on the poor wee fella? I don't think so. Fabregas has been playing a coy footsie with his boys from Barcelona for too long. I could handle the Barcelona shirt incident, but his absence at the end of the season - as the captain - was shameless. Also, any stand-up guy would have told Xavi and Co. to shut up, but not Fabregas.

This is salt in wound stuff, leaving at the last minute with years on your contract. I am sure Wenger is demoralized.

Sorry Cesc, no love on this end.

That comment summarizes how I feel about the whole issue and the guy very nicely.

not really after cesc ruined our champions league by giving the ball away to xavi, then saying he was injured

no sympathy for Cesc, he had decided he wanted to go but let this thing drag out until it's almost too late to replace him. if he'd had the balls to admit he was adament on the move back in july i would understand. but he's damaged the team by being too chickenshit to come clean. sod him. i hope he goes the way of hleb, ade, and overmars.

Cesc is a glory hunter, it's a good mentality, better than Arsenals

Finally, some supporters who can see how shabbily he has treated the club.

CR7 had the same burning desire to go to the Spanish club of his dreams, but at least he had enough respect for his club to settle things amicably a year before he left, and agreeing that it would only be for a record fee, which enabled him to make a proper contribution in his final season in England.

I feel Cesc has let down the Arsenal club and supporters badly.

Great player but, he played footsie with his mates at Barca too much and too openly for my liking. He always maintained a "diplomatic" silence on the issue instead of decalring himself one way or the other. I can understand him wanting to go to Barca, they are in his blood but I think the club and AW personally were owed a little more loyaly and honesty than he ever displayed in the last year or so. Barca behaved dispicably and I have absolutely no repect for them, great team absolutely no class.
