One question that needs to be answered is he states Dundee United have had success with their youth program. What success? Have they won anything? No. Do they look likely of securing European football next season. No. Have they made a profit off any of these young players. No.

I think this guy is jumping the gun just a wee bit when he proclaims Dundee Uniteds youth system a success.

Are we ignoring the profit made on Goodie, Russell and even Allan?

Might have made a wee ptofit on a couple of United young boys but they were sheeite do the club hasn't been that successful with its youth policy.

I wonder how much net profit it is in real terms when you consider the costs to coach them and pay their wages etc

I know you WUM toiler but thats another interesting thing. Say if Fisher, Atajic and tge Twardzik bros all made the break through into the celtic first team it would be aye celtic are producing youth players but no Scottish youths. The argument would change to fit the tartan armys needs.
