Any news on that Astori chap?

not heard any updates on Astori, tbh im not even sure Moyes was there to watch Astori

To be honest I wouldn't be against United signing another central defender,especially with the possibility of Vidic and Rio leaving in the summer.
Also ,I'm still uncertain over Smalling and Evans.

If Moyes wasn't there looking at Astori then the easy likelihood would be he was monitoring a Juve player/players.

But so much lies on the quality we'll be able to bring-in IF we make the CL.
If we don't then ,though out targets wont be as bad as some overreact too,we'll be certainly looking at lessor,possibly youth,profile players.

that would be my guess tbh, if we're adamant about buying a CB though we should be looking at Mehdi Benatia of AS Roma, who for me has been the best CB in europe this season

Weren't we monitoring him while he was at Udinese ?
(along with Barca,Madrid and Arsenal).

To be honest I cant be to selfish especially with all the success we've had over the years.

But,still , we do miss out of a fair few top talents.

Going back with regards to next summer (cant see any dealings being brought in-in this window) ,If the Glazers truly trust Moyes then they have to give him the financial backing.
