New Roy Keane Autobiography

Well this should put a n end to the t it-for-tat arguments between him and SAF...........

Personally liked Roys first autobiography, even without the McCarthy and Haaland stuff it was a great read.

'Red' by Gary Neville is another brilliant insight, mainly into the life of a apprentice at a big club in 80's & 90's with the initiations ceremonies which were basically bullying and how it moulded them.

'Parklife' by Nick Varley is an absolute must for all football fans IMO, the book has excerpts from the Taylor Report at the beginning of each chapter and continues with the advent of all seater stadia, revenue, money, players, as well as hooliganism and racism in the 70's.

There well as some personal stories from his time following Leeds United around the country (although I didn't hold that against him).

A real class act.

Not sure why he's releasing another. I really enjoyed his book but if this is meant to be a follow-on, what's he gonna say?

Chapter One - Management

"Not really the career for me. I'm too much of an angry man and sadly my temper always seems to get the better of me"

Chapter Two - TV Punditry

"Not really the career for me. I'm too much of an angry man and sadly my temper always seems to get the better of me"

Chapter Three - Writing Books

"Not really the career for me. I'm too much of an angry man and sadly my temper always seems to get the better of me"

Chapter Four - Thoughts on Sir Alex

"@£!%#$¥"

Chapter Five - Walking my Dogs

"I feckn love dags, me"

THE END

Where do I pre-order?

Roddy Doyle is writing it so should be a little more light hearted than you'd expect from Roy

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I seem to have the knack

I can take the peace, but even if it wasn't written with the genius that is Roddy Doyle, I'd still buy it anyway. For all his obvious pent up aggression, Roy Keane says something and you're almost compelled to listen.

Personally, when he retired I'd have liked to see him be a weekly columnist. Give him some column inches and just let the f-cker rant away until his heart's content.

Now on Chanel 4 it's 10 o'clock and time for Roy's rant of the week.

Still think they should do an ex-pro Big Brother. Stick in the likes of Gazza, Keane and Bryan Robson, amongst others and ply them with Special Brew on a daily basis.
