Hmm makes sense

Something I heard and seems to ad up. Before anyone starts no I can provide links and aint stating a FACT yadda yadda etc etc
Anyways apparently the hold up in McCoist signing off on his wage cut has been due to waiting on the motion which being voted through at the AGM which allows the club to issue new shares to anyone who invests in the club and all the paperwork being completed to allow its implementation . Most should be familiar with it. Its the motion which the guy in the wheelchair ( cant remember his name) was doing his nut about in the lead up to the AGM.
Like I said is just something I heard but like I also said it makes sense

True esc but that covers 99% plus of any post here and that includes ones with media links
Not something us here alone are guilty of though as thats the very nature of a disscussion forum

In fact two motions needed to go through for the share thing to happen - and only one did.

The guy's Kieran Prior.

BH thats the one I was thinking of

As pointed out by BH one of the motions needed was defeated to allow the OP to come to pass. So I emailed the where I had heard it from to basically ask HUH???
Got a responce just now and as I already knew BH was right becuase I found such within minutes of him telling me such from google.
Anyways back to the point at hand as he actually mentioned it during a family skype thing to back home it wasnt something that we went into in much detail as How is your garden doing and did you paper for the New Year had much higher priorities for the majority present
Apparently and the links I found confirm this the board plan to revisit the issue and it will be dealt with at an EGM planned to be held on expirey of the 120 period but from what I read in the email the timescale will probebly be moved up.
The moment for me though was this is also the reason why King has not come forward as yet. In a nutshell why would king buy shares and then be expected to also provide money needed for day to day running in the short term but also the funds needed to improve the playing staff.
Once this motion is passed he can kill two birds with one stone by providing the funds needed and gaining the stake in the club to safeguard or at least have a sizable say in control of his investment.
Long story short this is most likely the main aim of the motion and my OP is simply a happy side option for McCoist

Thought I would check back to see if any of those who are certain King was waiting in the wings might have had something to add to this but guess not.
For the record I hope there is not an ounce of truth to it as like I said in the OP it made sense in trying to figure out the delay in McCoist signing off on the cut but in the grand scheme of things McCoist could work for nothing and not make that much of a dent in fixing the shortfall but if there is anything to it regards King or any other making use of the motion the board tried to push through then it could actually be the core to saving the club from D-day 2
