please come home England

So tired of watching now! A promising start and an over rate of 6.9 and now we are limping along at 4! Stokes brought in to hit quick runs at three, played a worse innings than Joe root! I don't normally celebrate England losing wickets but that was a bloody relief!

Awful.

They'll get these with 20 overs to spare

Of all the people, England you chose to scapegoat Bopara. haha. cook, bell and and so many have been consistently failing and you think Bopara is the reason why England have been awful.

No wonder why England have struggled, because rather than getting to root of the problem, they are trying to just get away by blaming the players who have atleast tried. Next match you will start blaming Morgan, that why is not scoring 150s ehh?

If I was cook I would resign now. He has been awful, and would be more valuable to England if he concentrated on his batting.

England also lack this killer instinct. They had it when strauss was the captain, but just look at Australia. They will not let England win a single match. But back in the summer, England were happy with just winning 3-0, and didnt care jack if they won the ODI's or not. Same amount of matches, and Australia have shown how to give a knockout punch when a team is struggling.

Have you noticed how the 2 indian fans in here are backing bopara who happens to be of indian decent hypocracy MUCH?

Viru, England have done well prior to these odi games. Cook and Bell have batted well. Bopara as never batted well EVER.

England neither do I care if Bopara is of indian descent or of japanese. For all I care is that the whole team has failed and just pinpointing on one single player is unfair. Yes I know cook and bell have performed before, but in this tour both have only performed on the baseless tour matches. England are playing so many allrounders and that is perhaps a reason why the team is struggling quite a lot. Take stokes, bresnan, and probably bopara as well. I don't think any of them will get in any team for their specialist abilities,

In the past 12 months, Cook and Bopara had the same batting average on ODIs, but Bopara scored at a much higher strike rate. Keep in mind that Bopara contributes with the ball too.

Cook's interview was tragic. And I mean tragic.

He stumbled three times in one minute, even answering the wrong question with a pre-prepared generic statement TWICE!

It looked like he was on the verge of a Kim Hughes meltdown, shaking visibly and voice cracking. The poor hack asking the questions had to help him through it as best he could - no doubt aware that Cook was right on the very edge.

He is a broken man.

The worst thing England want is to lose Cook. I think with the way things are going I think ECB is doing its best to make sure Cook breaks down, and perhaps the Trott route.

Bopara is the least of Englad problems. He been a bright spark for England for the past 18Months.

His Bowler is vital imo and his batting is usually good.

England have bigger problems then Bopara.
