The Posh V The Magpies

Peterborough play a resurgent Notts County at what will be a muddy London Road on Tuesday night.

Tuesday night games at London Road against the Magpies have a history, so this should be an interesting match.

Brawls have occurred and Tomlin is back from suspension, so I could be excused for fearing the worst.

A win for the Posh will be affirmation that we are back on the road to recovery. However, Notts, although occupying a lowly position, are looking to extend a winning streak, so it won't be easy.

I'm hazarding a 2-1 guess, hopefully in favour of the Posh.

Will be popping along to that one.

UTP!

Thanks, DB. Wrong end of the stick caught - I thought Rhys Murphy might be a Celtic scout tracking Tomlin's progress.

Looks promising.

Good luck tonight...a win will put you above Fatty Evans' lot which is good all round.

Cheers Don. The pitch passed its 12.30pm inspection and the morning/afternoon fog has lifted, so game on.

Will try to oblige with a win.

C'mon the Posh!

More like it Posh ..........however, big Enoch scored past you

Yes, Enoch was big! An eventful game - two goals and a sending off for the Magpies within the first ten minutes, a comeback by us, a hat-trick for Nicky Ajose (including an absolutely stunning second), goals aplenty, etc. Credit to Notts County for never giving up after being reduced to 10 men. Ajose, the new Posh hero - Swindon certainly did a fine job as his finishing school. We're back to letting lots of silly goals in, but scoring more!

Nice to have another danger man for teams to fear.

Its very pleasing to see Ajose doing so well for you...I think his spell with us and the goals he scored did a great deal for his confidence and for a goal scorer that's crucial.

We had Murray on loan in the past...bit of a pillock for getting himself sent off and letting his team down, it must have influenced the game.

Up to fifth then, what a difference a couple of wins makes.
