Shame it wasn't his free kick. Mr Doughty could probably have caught it.!

This article radiates class
You should be very proud of AJ, Derby fans.
Is he an ambassador for all of you?

You a BBC man trying to take the meaning of something the wrong way. It only refers to how high the free kick was and not in the slightest an attempt to make fun of your previous chairman's untimely demise.
Had Sammon taken that free kick we would never have heard the last of it.

I applaud Patrick Bamford's dedication. He seems to be a thoroughly nice and decent young man. He is a credit to Forest's academy. I hope Steve will take good care of him. I'm sure he will.

...because it'd have been his closest effort for months?
AJ in!
Nice touch by Bamf, and I'm sure no Derby fan begrudges him his dedication to his Godfather.

Totally agree 666. Saw this the other day and thought what a nice thing it was to say. Doughty was his god father and a family friend and it was for that reason that BamBam dedicated the goal to him.
I know he said he was worried we, the fans, might not like it but I for one think it shows what a decent bloke he is.

Exactly as intended boys. In no way a derogatory comment about Mr Doughty.
It was an abysmal free kick. Stret clearly not aware, but just loves to comment on the Derby board.!

Not sure why you have a downer on the article, Strett. Patrick Bamford obviously values the input and influence Mr Doughty had regarding his development. Family friend as well as football club chairman.
Nothing else needs to be said - but that won't stop you I suppose.

Fair play to the lad! Shame the 5/6 thousand knuckle draggers who took part in the vile chanting.
