Alright guys on Ish Wiki does not tell the whole story on him, he scored 17 in our promotion campaign under Mowbray with 10 in the league and 7 in the cups which is an impressive feat considering he was competing with Phillips who hit 22 and Bednar who scored just under 20 goals in the league.

He was adjusting to the prem as well until his injury which also messed his stats up as most of his appearances came after that when he was coming on as a sub and was not fit. If you can keep him fit and partner him with a target/experienced striker like Phillips he will score for fun.

So we have Miller, Derbyshire, Garner, Findley, Tudgay,Blackstock and McGoldrick who stays? who goes? and who should start?

I watched Jimmy go through shooting training with all of our strikers plus McGugan and Majewski before the game on Saturday and I have to say that only Findley and McGugan showed any class, the others were truly terrible and remember this was a drill from various positions about 8-10 attempts each sometimes without a covering defender and with Darlow in net. That's about the equivalent to three games worth of chances for a striker.

If I were in charge (and I'm not) I'd ship Garner, Tudgay, McGoldrick out permanently. Surely with the money from them, we'd be better off buy a decent young striker from the lower leagues and get a youth player involved. We'll have Dexter back soon and with McGugan playing quite advanced there is plenty of cover IMO.

As for our strikers, go 3 up top with Findley, Derbyshire and Miller.

Wood, I agree, especially at home, Miller the target man knocking it down to Derbyshire or through from Findley, plus I believe Derbyshire and Finley could play on the wings meaning we could alternate to a 4-5-1 easily and effectively.

just watching Miller highlights against us on Forest Player. The boy does some running. I remember him coming on against us for QPR and he looked scary. Just what we need. I reckon we should get him out on the wing sometimes too, maybe him and Derbyshire swapping over during the game. Miller really gets at defenders, could be a dangerous combination.
