What We Need

Looking at the team and the task at hand - to finish 4th (or higher) I think we should invest in another central midfielder cos the way I look at it is we are best with 3 centre mids. Currently we have 4 natural centre mids and now one of them (Lucas) is out for a few months. If we wanna capitalize on our midfield trio and the possession game Brendan wants then we need options in midfield. So for me bring in another centre mid. I still don't get why Shelvey was sold, it doesn't make sense to me.

Other than that I just hope that our first choice back four is fit for the rest of the season/ returns from injury soon and stays fit. The chopping and changing isn't doing us any good at all. Im assuming the preferred 4 would be

Enrique--Agger--Skrtel--Johnson

But we need to play these boys week in week out to improve our chances of keeping out the goals. We don't seem to have a problem scoring but controlling possession and keeping out the leaky goals is something that should be addressed.

There's my two cents on the sitch, do we agree is there anything to add?
