They were talking about Moyes on taksport and the ex egg-chaser Brian Moore basically said what us spurs fans have been thinking- why is it that Moyes isn't being hounded out by the media, when AVB was mercilessly victimised?
Lets be honest, AVB was actually doing a better job than Moyes, two drubbings aside. Especially considering Moyes took over the reigning champs!
Alan Brazil even went as far as saying AVB deserved it because he'd heard a rumour that AVB didn't lay into the team after the 0-5...plank!!
Also, look at what Martinez is doing, trust me he will achieve more than Moyes ever did there, hes got more trophies than moyes already and imo Moyes underachieved at Everton who are a big club lets not forget.
Well said Brian Moore

AVB moaned non stop and has no personality..
And Moyes is just a barrell of laughs, isn't he?
It's admirable that United fans are backing him, but he looks like a dead man walking (both literally and figuratively) to me.

Sir,
I can't quite get my head around the "Davey" thing. Drives me mad. His name is David. If you're going to shorten it, call him Dave. There's no reason to call him Davey other than over-friendliness.

Also AVB had 100 million pound worth of new talent.
Haven`t like United spent something like £40 million on two bench warmers in the past year, Zaha and Fellani, and about to spend another £40 million on Mata, so not quite sure why you would bring up that Spurs have spent £100 million, all of which was recouped in sales.

AVB made enemies in the press with his prickly responses when things went wrong. Moyes had a 10 year honeymoon period at Everton where he never really came out and criticised many people or laid the blame at others. Now he's at United expectations are more and tensions run higher. He took over the PL champions so he can hardly blame anyone else but has constantly done so. His face last night was a picture

I didn't mind AVB but since he has left it has become clear he is not a great man manager, he simply does not seem to get over disliking players where as a top manager would try to get the best out of that player while at the club. While at Chelsea he tried to freeze Lampard and Terry out, he lost chelsea went on to win the CL, he then completely froze Ade out now he has gone Adebayor is our best player (at this moment). AVB does not have the personality and experience to get the best from his squad and didn't know how to use the media to his advantage (as Mourhino would) he has some good traits but until he learns this things he will never be a top manager.

What bothers me at the moment is Sherwood seems to be doing the same with Capoue and, to a lesser extent, Holtby

"What bothers me at the moment is Sherwood seems to be doing the same with Capoue"
Although that is (currently) allegedly due to not putting in a shift during training sessions, rather than a catalogue of disciplinary infractions started by not being in the managers' good books.

I thought the whole Capoue and Holtby situation was started by them being late for the team bus.
If true, stuff like this shouldn't be allowed to fester, if he's not pulling his weight he should be pushed harder and offered the carrot of a place in the team when he hits targets.
Trouble is it's all hearsay...same as with Ade, BAE etc
