There is no current Chelsea player i'd want more than Juan Mata.
If i was offered the chance to sign either Willian, Oscar, Luiz or Mata for example i'd have said Mata without a moments hesitation. I still can't believe Chelsea are selling him as he is 25 and in his prime, was Chelsea player of the year the past two seasons and he is coming to United with a major point to prove to his former club and to Mourinho.
Anyone disagree that if you were offered the chance to sign a Chelsea player Mata would have been your undisputed second choice behind Hazard?

I have a question for Man U fans, where will you play him.
He is not as effective on the wing, he needs to play behind the striker but I thgought that was Rooneys position.
Will you go 2 up front with Mata behind?
He is a great player but does he suit you? is he going from being a great player but not the right type of player again?

Hard to say. Rooney and RVP have hardly been fit at the same time so if that continues he'll play in his favoured attacking midfield role, I reckon.

I think that we will see a change at United, with 4231 becoming our usual formation. Mata will play in that 3 behind RVP or Welbeck. The new formation will get the best out of the current squad.

Would you still have Mata in your Chelsea starting 11 then? In front of Willian or Oscar? Would you even have him in the side in front of Hazard?

I believe if mata had played more and been given a run to get his form back we would be top of the league. Maybe not swap him for either but rotated more with them all yes. hazard has been good this year but its only the last month or two he has really been taking control of games.
