Spurs 14th in the money league

Tottenham came in 14th in the Deloitte Football Money League for 12/13 bringing in €172 Million

Real Madrid €518.9
Barcelona €482.6
Bayern Munich €431.2
Manchester United €423.8
Paris Saint-Germain €398.8
Manchester City €316.2
Chelsea €303.4
Arsenal €284.3
Juventus €272.4
AC Milan €263.5
Borussia Dortmund €256.2
Liverpool €240.6
Schalke 04 €198.2

I think this puts to bed if we are a big club or not as we are at least one of the top 15 clubs in europe and considering how many club there are around europe 14 is pretty high up the food chain.

You could say compared to the Bundesliga that the matchday revenues are distorted by the PL generally charging a fair bit more for spectators.
Dunno what seat prices are like in Serie A though compared to the PL.

"I am also surprised City are so high up, most be all the glory hunters jumping ship from UTD"

The revenue streams are up (although a major reason for that is well-discussed) .

Just imagine the difference the new stadium will make

If read the actual report, getting a place at the PL piggy trough, and new WHL, are cited as the factors stopping revenue growth.

However, on the latter ...

Matchday is Arsenal’s largest revenue
source. We are unlikely to see this
repeated at Arsenal, or any other Money
League club in the future.

So I wonder what minimum matchday revenues are being targeted by ENIC. Trying to match that of Chelsky, but with a bigger stadium, should ensure the ticket prices are reasonable without compromising revenues.

That the Poool have 60m odd quid more in revenues than Spurs even without CL, is the bigger concern. Spurs appear to have hit the ceiling regarding revenues without a CL slot.

In Germany, the gap between Munich and the rest is vast.
And in a league that is financially well run, no Sugga Daddy FCs present etc.

And the broadcasting money in La Liga is disgraceful ( Atletico Madrid for even trying to compete against the top two) .

It just shows how well run our club is. To be the 14th richest club is pretty amazing considering we have been in the champions league once and only have a 36000 capacity stadium.
Man city and chelsea are only there because they won the lottery having billionaire owners who paid obcene amounts of money to buy players, pay their wages to guarantee consistent champions league football and the revenue it brings.
So huge kudos to Daniel Levy and his money men for doing such a great job.
once we do get our new shiny stadium then it wont be long before were in the top seven or eight.

All the ones above at top 4 regulars which = +£30m a season.

Most have vast stadiums, Arsenal apparently gain an extra £40m per season on Spurs from stadium revenue alone.

Bigger stadium & CL regulars = another £70m which puts us around Dortmund / one time European giants Liverpool.
