Salah

Enough has been said on the Mata deal, it makes no sense to sell to a rival but it looks like its going to happen.

Onto Mohamed Salah. A fair few Chelsea fans want us to sign Salah as a squad player. My problem is that we have so many players out on loan that we can not jusitfy signing a player for £15million as a squad player.

At the moment in the attacking midfielders roles we have

Wilian- Oscar- Hazard

These three are working well together and been a huge part of the reason we have won our last 5 PL games.

We have Schurrle as backup, who has been hit and miss and is still adjusting to the PL. Also Ramires may be used in a wider position against tough oppostion (As there is more competition now for the two CM roles)

It would make more sense to recall someone from a loan then spend spend £15million on Salah

Thorgan Hazard- probably not ready for CFC first team yet, but is the big fish in the small pond in the Belgian league. May only get 10-20 minute run outs when games have been killed off.

Lucas Piazon- Has better half season figures than Eriksen had for Ajax last season, scoring and assisting goals almost at will. Has (albeit little) first team experience at Chelsea.

Recalling either of these players may be a hindrance to their progression as they are playing week in week out. But would give a confidence boost to them to know JM believes they are ready to be in the first team squad.
