Sell him and watch the fans go barmy, sell at your own peril Leeds!

I agree, i wouldn't blame Ross for wanting out of what has become a bit of a joke of a club, and i don't find it easy to say that
But too many chancers have been trying to grab a piece of the Leeds United pie for too long, just when we thought things might be improving, this latest takeover saga comes along and now the concern that we might be about to sell our captain, top scorer and all round best performer, It's sickening

Highland, you have to ask yourself why they made Ross captain.
Why did they make Snoddy captain?
Because that is all they have left to be able to offer to try and retain them.
Give Howson armband, he goes, give Snoddy armband, he goes, give Ross armband....

Anyone but Bates to take over from GFH
posted on 24/1/14
The vast majority of fans supported Bates and believed his lies. That was bad enough but understandable as fans want to believe the best.
But to do next to nothing when they realised Bates was destroying a great football club defies belief.
I am ashamed of myself for editing so long to boycott.
Bates got an easy ride, it was pathetic.

I respect some people deciding boycott is best form of action, I also respect those who still go to games to support team.
Ultimately both are trying to do what they feel is right to try and help future of club.
What is frustrating though is those who blindly follow whatever the owners say without even stopping to think for a minute if all the hyperbole they hear is true or not.
We've been taken for a ride for so many years, you would have thought people could at least recognise the signs by now.

aye the blind followers would still decry us as "conspiracy theorists", even now, Jonty
This is a totally corrupt world. Question everything and everyone.

4eva, the amazing thing is there are clearly signs that there are issues but folk ignore them and find all sorts of excuses to try and justify any scenario except the one staring them in the face, just because they can't accept they've been conned again.

Why not sell Ross?
31/2 mill will buy us some better players, including a prolific goal scorer should Mickydee get the money however, then we have to wonder if Mickydee can bring in the right players we actually need, that is also a problem.
Ross has scored 1 goal in 8 games, not very prolific is it?
We can get 2 or 3 good players that could make a big difference to team, including a regular goal scorer.
BM bringing in decent players is the other problem.
Bring back Becchio and Somma, two cheap but good options, but BM is stubborn. He's not thinking if team when he brings in the rubbish he has been bringing in.

I don't think to many fans would revolt if Ross got sold.
1 goal in last 8 games doesn't make him a superstar, and fans that don't subscribe to JA606 would realise that.
He's a hot and cold player, has been every season, that makes him unpredictable, meaning no one knows when he will hit his cold spells, that equates to unreliability in some peoples books.
Right now, Ross looks good in some peoples books cos we don't have another striker, except for Smith who was scoring a few goals himself.
Bring in another one or two prolific goal scorers and Ross would be feeling left out, like he did with Becchio, and Ross made those negative comments about him.
Becchio leaves, Ross gets the attention cos we have no other strikers. While Becchio was here, Ross looked quite normal.
Beckford got all the plaudits when he was here, but Becchio kept scoring goals too. Beckford leaves, Becchio continues to score regular goals.
Then Warnock screws up Becchio's career for him.
The money we get for Ross would buy us two more prolific and reliable goal scorers, after all, isn't that what other LUFC fans on here keep asking for?
