Coventry City Line Up:

Subs:

Burge, Willis, J. Clarke, Haynes, Phillips, Barton, Slager.

Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has returned to training after a sprained ankle and is available for the visit of Coventry in the FA Cup fourth round.

Midfield trio Mikel Arteta, Tomas Rosicky and Aaron Ramsey remain sidelined but Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could return.

Coventry manager Steve Pressley expects Leon Clarke to play despite the striker handing in a transfer request.

Fellow striker Callum Wilson misses out with a shoulder injury.

Arsenal are a point clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League and the Friday scheduling of the visit of the Sky Blue gives them an extra days' rest before the trip to Southampton on Tuesday.

As well as the league, manager Arsene Wenger also recognises the FA Cup as a route to a first trophy since 2005 as he looks to avoid a repeat of last season's shock defeat by Championship side Blackburn.

"We have to prepare seriously for this game, because we are on a good run and it will be really not welcome at all not to take this game seriously," said the Frenchman.

"Blackburn was the first time in 16 years that we lost against lower league opposition in the FA Cup, so that was a great warning.

"At the moment, this is just our next game and we want to win it."

MATCH FACTS:

• Arsenal have progressed on both occasions that these sides have met in the FA Cup. They won 3-0 in a replay at Highbury in 1975 (after a 1-1 draw at Highfield Road) and 3-1 at Highbury in 1977.

• Arsenal won the last meeting in all competitions 6-1 in the League Cup at the Emirates in 2012.

• Arsenal have won the FA Cup 10 times - most recently in 2005. Only Manchester United (11) have won the competition more times than the Gunners.

• Coventry's only success came when they beat Tottenham 3-2 in the 1987 final at Wembley. It is their only appearance in the FA Cup final.

Draxler is a huge, huge talent

I think the £40m price tag is a little steep, though. Especially as it's near the same price we played for Ozil.

That is true though. Think we overpay if we play like this.

We don't need drax, just pacy striker man! Let's take a chance on Remy!

How do you think we would/will utilise him?

I have no idea of what Wenger is thinking. He is a midfielder though but plays often in the Pod position

Wenger refuse to make any comments on Draxler

His best position is number 10. I am not saying he is not a talented boy but we really don't need another number 10! Please lord!
