CM is a priority and then maybe another CB if we're lucky.

Left back and central midfield.

Our defence hasn't been great, but I think if we had a more settled backline, a better midfield and players that don't give the ball straight back to the opposition in attack we'd start conceding less.

Left back REALLY worries me.


Evra is poor defensively over the last couple of seasons, and Buttner just aint good enough.

Having said that, perhaps we can stumble through with those two until the summer - CM is absolute prioirity

If Mata plays on the left I think Evra might improve defensively.

I say that not because Mata provide loads of defensive cover, but because Mata won't stand there like a plumb waiting for Evra to overlap, meaning he won't be getting caught up there pitch half as much.
