Well, who would have thought it. Late January and little old Burnley ( the ones with the wooden seats) are sitting proudly in third place in The Championship. That is the same Burnley who have a small squad and a low salary threshold. Why are they doing so well you ask ? Sean Dyche my friends is the answer. What an unbelievable job he has done, working with no money and turning cart horses into thoroughbreds. Truly amazing.
Will we get promoted ? Maybe...Maybe not. But whatever happens for the rest of the season we are doing damn well. We own our ground, we have little or no debt and we live within our means. Sadly for some of our neighbours who have spent years gloting on benefactors money, their clubs have spent and wasted with gay abandon. They are now reaping what they have sowed.......big time.
Blackburn are huffing and puffing in 9th place. They might limp into the play offs but I doubt it. Crippling debts and insane owners plus dwindling support with continue to hurt them and this is before the Fair Play rules kick in.
Bolton are struggling to avoid relegation with debts of 160 million plus. Yes thats the same Bolton who enticed Owen Coyle and his backroom team to The Reebok and then offered crazy wages to Eagles and Mears amongst others.
Blackpool are .....well........er......just being Blackpool.
Preston seem to be having a decent season and living within their means. Just imagine if they were to swap places with Bolton ?
Still a long way to go and things might change a lot, but at the moment `we are doing damn well......thank you`
We are doing damn well thank you.

But fair play and good luck, I think it's between us and QPR for the title now but you still have a great shout at second, needless to say it's quite an important on Saturday 👍

Agreed. Bad result last night, no good dominating but failing to score. Been reading that Charlie Austin has hurt his shoulder ( again). Can you get your guys to teach ours how to get penalties almost every game !!

Yes you guys are also doing well. Not spending much on transfer fees but I suspect the likes of Grant and your loan players will be on big wages ( compared to ours) . Grant for example cost nowt but will no doubt have at least doubled (or more) his Burnley salary. See you at Wembley ?

The secret of our penalties this season is simply down to the fact our players run at the opposition defences and get brought down, nothing more to it than that.

So its not true that Tom Daley is the new diving coach at Leicester ? Good point at QPR today although it should have been 3 and certainly 2 points dropped by The Rams.

Thought it was a good game and I am disappointed we only came away with a point. Having said that I would have taken a point before the game. As you rightly say....the fight goes on, although its not a 2 horse race any longer.

I think it is, the likes of Derby and Forest aren't good enough.

Hope you are right. We still have Leicester, Forest and Derby to play at Turf Moor. Our only away games against current top 10 teams are Blackburn and Reading on the last day.
