The thread that captures everything that drives you mad when watching the Brewers.

What would you like to see us do / stop doing? What would you do instead? It might seem churlish to be critical when you are near the top of the table but there is not a team in the world that cannot improve. That includes Bayern Munich and Barcelona.

1. KICK OFF - Our kick off involves nudging it to a player who hoofs it in the air to 3 players scarpering down one side of the pitch. It is either lost possession, the ball goes out for a thrown-in or at best we contest a 50/50.

Otep as Manager - Pass it backwards, kick it amongst yourselves, get a feel for the ball, be confident with it at your feet, keep possession and work the opening.

2. SHORT CORNERS - It creates a better angle, that's why teams do it. Our short corners routines are always inept.

Otep as Manager - Never take a short corner ever again. Leave it to teams who know what they are doing.

3. THE BALL IS NOT A UNEXPLODED BOMB - Lots of our players seem scared to have the ball at their feet. It's like the ball is a live bomb and they have to get rid of it as quickly as possible.

Otep as Manager - Don't be scared to take a few touches. Stop, look around and think. Most of all, if there is an empty space and you have the ball - run in to that space. If you can move 10 yards up the pitch with the ball, do so. Players hate having someone run at them with the ball. They love it when you hoof it aimlessly upfield creating 50/50 situations.

4. NO STATUES AT THROW INS - When we get a throw-in, it is as if we are resigned to conceding possession from it. Just one player moves and everyone else just stands and watches.

Otep as Manager - Move around, make the opposition think, create spaces, look interested and try and retain possession.

5. HEIGHT - Play the ball on the ground to our strikers.

Otep as Manager - Check out who we are playing in the next game. Do your homework. If Danny De Vito and Dustin Hoffman are playing at centre half for the opposition, play the aerial stuff. However, more often than not players of that height won't be playing at centre half - so play it to feet.
