saturdays game

dont be worrying, although the result was dissapointing there were promising signs in the game agianst sunderland.

the first half was brilliant high tempo football and although we ran out of steam abit in the second half as the season goes on the players will have more fitness and be able to replicate that intensity until around the 75th/80th minute when we can look to shut the game out.

When the players have more energy and match fitness the movement and therefore passing options will continue throughout the game and we wont lapse into long ball like we saw in the second half.

Also, i cant wait for gerrard to return because it already looks like suarez is carrying alot of the creative burden.

ps- can anyone enlighten me about the situation with gary cahill (who scored a good goal at the weekend no doubt convincing coyle hes worth an extra few million)

I was personally extremely happy with the first half display, we were quick, strong and really should have had the game sown up by half time! But that's football, with another weeks training and another week for the lads to gel.

Aye would of been good to see aquilani come on near the start of the second half for henderson (or kanckered suarez! ) would of helped us keep the ball and create. tbh im a bit gutted he didnt make the bench.

also i think kelly/ johnson would be better shouts than flanno for arsenal, i think he had a tough time. still looking forward to him progressing this season though
