EKO = Early rounds KO
MKO = Middle rounds KO
LKO = Late rounds KO
WPTS = Wide Points Decision
CPTS = Close Points Decision

Mislabelled predictions could miss out on points.

The Rules:

Section A (scoring)



1) 3 points for a picking the winner of the fight.

2) Bonus 1 point for predicting the correct method of victory, (PTS or KO)

3) Bonus 2 point for the predicting if it will be a LKO, MKO or a EKO correctly.

4) Bonus 1 point for predicting a WPTS or a CPTS correctly

5) EKO = Early KO, any stoppage in the first third of the fight, e.g 1-4 in a 12 round fight and 1-3 in a 10 round fight

6) MKO = Late KO, any stoppage in the middle third of the fight, eg 5-8 in a 12 round fight and 4-7 in a 10 round fight

7) LKO = Late KO, any stoppage in the last half of the fight, eg 9-12 in a 12 round fight and 8-10 in a 10 round fight

8) WPTS = Wide Points Decision: A decision victory by 5 rounds or greater than by the middle scorecard or the majority scorecards.

9) CPTS = Close Points Decision: A decision victory by 4 rounds or fewer than by the middle scorecard or the majority scorecards.

10) Predict a correct draw and score 10 points.

11) Canceled fights, NCs, no points given.




Section B (Late Entrants)

1) A "late entrant" is someone that did not start the current league season in week 1.

2) "Late entrants" will be accepted up till the 5 week

3) After "late entrants" have completed 4 weeks they will be given an "average score"

4) The "average score" will be determined by the number of points accumulated in their 4 weeks, divided by 4 and times by the number of weeks that the league has been running for.

5) Once an average score has been given the "late entrant" will be subjected to penalty points.

6) The penalty point given will be determined by the amount of weeks missed.

7) There will be a 3 point penalty point deduction per a week missed. e.g. If you miss the first 3 weeks you will received a 9 point deduction.

8) Average scores will be rounded up to the nearest integer



Section C (Running of the League)

1) The league will run for 10 week (not necessarily consecutive)

2) Whoever holds the number 1 position at the end of the 10 weeks shall be declared the winner of the of league.

3) Predictions to be in before the ring walks for the latest, preferably on Friday.

4) A maximum for 40 entrants will be allowed to compete in the league.


5) Reserves the right to amend the rules.

Can't have an intelligent chat on these boxing boards as it all turns to name calling and Mayweather/Pacquiao talk everytime

There's more to boxing than those two and claiming you know more about the sport than anyone else on here

He'll probably make more money doing movies. A lot safer and easier also. Good luck to the kid. He's had a tough life and has turned it around.
