I'd be very surprised if Spurs sold us Capoue for less than 10m. Why are they looking to sell him so quickly?

TBF ive not liked gerrard in that role but last night i thought he was immense..him and hendo could play that two with AM (Coutinho) ahead of them for rest of season for me...

Dont know enough about either tbh. Imo we need a wide player, another dm and a striker like hernandez unless aspss comes to the party.

Then why would we want him?

because he's exactly what we need at the moment.

which is the very same reason we bought Sturridge, he was not playing at chelsea and was what we needed at that time.

But Sturridge has shown signs of what he can do wherever he's been. It was just a case of getting him to do it consistently, and thankfully BR has done that better than we could of dreamed of.

Does it not concern you that Spurs are looking to offload Capoue, basically 6 months after buying him? There must be a reason for that. He's either not adjusting to the PL, or he's just not very good. I've not seen much of him so don't know which it is....

I'd be very wary of buying any Spurs player at the moment. They went on a massive spree and are maybe coming to terms that they've probably overpaid for some of them, and are now trying to get rid. The one exception to that would be Holtby, I really like the look of him, and he could be worth a punt.....

In his first few games when he was playing at DM, he was their best performer until he got injured. Since then he's struggled to get a game but thats more down to sherwood prefering Bentaleb.

I think he would do a good job for us there but to each his own i guess.
