I'm realistic - we're not going up and we're in a mess with the ownership, but what's the point in ripping into BM - the best manager we've had since relegation - and constantly speculating based on tweets by Haigh & GFH press releases that most of us can't even contextualise.
If it wasn't for one eggy signing in Murphy - and I'll generally give players a full season before forming a firm opinion (look at youngsters like Ramsey, Townsend, etc (not that he's that calibre, but you get the point), we'd all be saying that BM has been hamstrung by the owners and did well to get the average squad into the play-off spots and then keep them in the top half of the table.
The team's over-stretched, proven by the fact we're starting matches with Brown & Diouf on the pitch, but we have a solid base of players in Pearce, Byram, Warnock, Austin, Mowatt, Cameron & Rossco.
It's boring coming on here and seeing the same old posts by the same old boring people who don't have any mates to rant with at the pub so come on here to do it instead – we simply need the ownership situation resolved and BM empowered to clear-out the deadwood and make 4 key signings and we'll have as good a case for promotion than any other club in this league – just look how long it's taken the likes of Leicester, Forrest & Burnley to get to the place they are today – there's no easy way out of this league and patience, however frustrating it all is, is key.

Don't see how the takeover is the mess people are reporting, GFH want to sell and have two buyers trying to get the club, the fact sports capital have come back with a lower offer is normal when buying a business, they do the due dilligence and then have every right to revise their bid. The only strange thing is the exclusivity.
The team is a shambles at the moment.

Not quite as simple as that, we need a proper owner, even if it takes time, I would rather have that then resolve this quickly and have more incompetents in charge.

I respect your opinion, but just don't agree.
I can clearly recall some really dark days in L1 when we were playing in the JPT midweek - now those were the worst matches i can recall in living memory. Similar comments were being made about the turgid utterly rubbish performances under the days of NW. At least BM has a shred of decency about him.
Sack Brian right now - no chance. Who would you bring in? Who would want to come in? If a new manager comes in and the players start performing, why not aim the blame at the players?
It's Leeds - so there'd be plenty of takers, but could/would they do any better with the circumstances at the moment? Seriously doubt it.
