Drax Not Happening... Mata & Hazard Mk II

So the board were willing to meet the clause but Wenger cancelled because he didn't agree with the valuation. Looks like another talent has been missed out on, it would be different if Schalke were fully reluctant but the fact that we can nick him without them stopping us makes it more painful. Hazard looks a bargain nowadays as did Mata in the past 2 years yet similar situation and we've lost out.

Waiting for the summer is hopeless after the world cup plenty of clubs will be in line and depending on our season his mind could be swayed, so Wenger confirming we won't get him says it all. I also think Wenger mustn't sign until the end of the season because if we get dragged back into a top 4 battle again I'd be against him continuing as it would be the same old lies.

Typical Arsene. Kallstrom, Klose, Vucinic goodness me is Harry Redknapp controlling our activity behind the scenes?? What a disappointment I don't want any of those average players.

Bookmark this coz I want to look like a mug come deadline hour but for now I'm fuming. Wenger mucked up big time and the title fight will inevitably come to a gripping end soon with this current crop and the injuries we are carrying. Arteta in MF Vs Bayern and for most of our big upcoming games is such a cringe thought!

Apparently he doesn't have a release clause. And he might not wanna leave either. And the club don't want to sell him.

Basically this transfer hasn't looked likely at all. Can't really have a go at the manager for that.

Darren

It was clearly on the cards Wenger would comment on him in most full length conferences so the interest was certainly there.
He's a big admirer and what business does he have rating our facilities??

Schalke have declared his valuation of £37m to be met if anyone wants to negotiate, we missed out. Wenger is responsible for all our transfer dealings which Gazidis confirmed, so any shortcomings will be well and truly the managers fault

I know more info about my club than you do so stop thinking otherwise you silly muppet!

Darren feck off my article you moron. All you do is jump on this board and drop your 2 cents here and there, you don't know more facts/history about Arsenal than me or do you?

GT you're being an idiot but this is an Arsenal discussion so discuss properly or do 1

What does me knowing less than you about Arsenal's history have to do we me thinking Draxler wasn't likely to happen?

It's when you suggested why the manager isn't to blame like you know who is and who isn't at the club. It's been confirmed things are through Arsene so again idiot... any shortcomings we have he is mainly responsible for.... simple as that.

History will also tell you that Dein used to play this role but after his departure and Gazidis' arrival, Ivan's focus is off the pitch financial deals hence his good work with Puma. Our system has changed a bit so a knowledge of history is more useful than you'd imagine

You've completely missed my point. Not to worry.

Her's a fact for you all. Have we seen an official offer from Arsenal of £37 million for Draxler, and was that offer turned down? NO, we havent, therefore Arsenal have refused to pay the asking price. History tells us that is down to Wenger, because he has done this over and over again. OP is spot on, if Wenger wasnt So obsessed with money we would have bought many great players and been more succesful. He is a genius, but a flawed one. Dein used to be the antidote, since he left Wenger has won the Accountants cup every year since ( shame it only exists in his weird mind!). And to all those ppl who think Wenger is some kind of god, above criticism, you are not real fans. The club comes first, not one man.
