Wenger Knows best

Lets not go overboard about signings, we are not desperate for strikers we haven't even seen Sanogo in action he might be the new signing we need and we have Podolski and NB with Giroud so why even waste money on some 30 year old bench warmers. If Kallstrom is what we need until we get Rambo back, am happy, remember we have Wilshere, Ox, Rosicky, Arteta, Özil, Carzola, Flamini so no need to panic. We are alright at the back with two LB and two RB and Sagna can also play CB. Am happy with the balance of our team now lets concentrate on winning the league. We have a chance just a point off the most expensively assembled team funded by Sheiks black gold, lets torn down and appreciate how blessed we are to have Arsene in charge. We are not Spurs in crisis or boring Chelsea, and certainly we are better than both Liverpool and United and we will prove it in the coming days, COYG Draxler or no Draxler.

It's optimistic in the extreme to pretend we don't have an issue up front, especially with Theo out. Podolski is not equipped to play there and Sanogo completely untested. That leaves Giroud, a good player and one who I think brings a lot to the team, but is not the most clinical finisher (something even more important with Walcott out) and Bendtner, an egomaniacal halfwit whose touch is as unpredictable as that of a blind camel.

The main problem for me is that this is an issue that was identified in the Summer, and should have been dealt with then. The January window is not ideal, but to not try and aquire a forward now seems pretty negligable to me.
