Victor Ortiz

Victor Ortiz got knocked out last night in two rounds by divisional gatekeeper Luis Collazo.

Victor Ortiz was muched hyped when coming through the ranks but came undone when he faced someone with heart that could fire back in Marcos Maidana. It got too tough for Ortiz and he quit in the ring.

GBP still wanted to hype him though purely on his media friendly image.

When he fought Mayweather some casual fans bought into the hype repeating the rhetoric that Ortiz was a young hungry lion and that he was a world class fighter that was a threat to Mayweather.

As we seen last night that Ortiz may have aggression but is poor with his accuracy often hitting air and his poor mental strength causes him to get frustrated and capitulate when a fight ain't going his way.

He was a thug who sent people after Rios in an altercation that caused injuries to Rios's wife.

Victor Ortiz was a poor man's Brandon Rios without the chin, heart and toughness.

You buy into all the PR like it actually means something. I never did.

Pacquiao had already finished fighting Mosley and the fight he had lined up was the 3rd fight with JMM. I said that was the toughest fight for Pacquiao and Marquez will be a different animal because of his conditioning coach he had brought in and the fact that he was rushed up the weights to fight Mayweather.

I said Ortiz was mentally weak, lacked heart and beat a hype job in Berto who best win was a debatable one over Collazo. And Floyd could knock Ortiz out.

Many on 606 said that I was wumming and that Marquez is done and Ortiz was a young hungry lion. When I asked them was the hell does that mean, I got banned.

It's funny reading some of those comments of the Floyd fanboys creaming their knickers of Floyd fighting Ortiz, saying how it is a great fight

I believe he has the power to do so but not the skillset. No 147lber has the skillset to beat floyd. I actually believe this would be a more difficult fight for floyd than against the filipino.

im a massive fan of this fight. ortiz is the best welter around bar manny.
if the fight is made, its once again floyd showing up manny by taking on the legitimate opponents.

You really got to laugh at some of these deluded fools

I stand by my comment. Paq is a gift of an easy night for Floyd. 120-112 to Floyd. A sustained beating so bad he'll legitimately need roids to recover.

Two rounds Kamran, you can watch it during half time

He didn't even try to get up, the round was over as well so he wouldn't have had to survive. He lacks hunger.
