The 11th-hour transfer

Well, over the last couple of days the transfer of Eugene Konoplayanka seems to be on he way up. From the BBC resources, the deal for the Ukranian winger seems close enough to being completed, although it could be a touch before the deadline. heard reports he is currently undergoing a medical at the Reds and Rodgers isn't giving up on the transfer just yet.

Excitable player for sure. A needed player at Liverpool? I'd say so. Be your best winger. Very fast and much stronger than Sterling and has more quality than him and Moses. A real touchline huger and certainly someone I'd be excited about if I was a Liverpool fan.

One deal in this last 50 minutes or so now, Senderos has joined Valencia. Your foes player Heitinga could be on his to Fulham to complete a deal.

So far though, no development on the Konoplayanka deal.

BREAKING NEWS

He has completed his medical for the club, so says Ian Dennis anyway. They are just waiting for the final paperwork to be agreed and he says it could be done close to the deadline, but it COULD be in the next 30 minutes, but you'll have to be quick....

I'm quite sure Evghen is the Ukranian name of Eugene. That is why I put, Eugene.
