What do we focus on now in terms of ending the trophy drought? Nobody was ever going to compete with this City side and with no great goal scorers possessed by neither Chelsea or ourselves we are some way off that side, yes they have unlimited resources and we can't compete with them financially but looking at ourselves there was only 1 position that needed real strengthening and we failed to do so miserably, the only striker we've actually brought since RVP ditched us was Sanogo we haven't addressed this for a while but why expect otherwise?

Of course I'll be supporting the club throughout the campaign but the belief has faded as City now get in their stride and we drop points before the horror set of fixtures coming up, I battled with myself to believe we won't be disappointed this window like we always are but that hasn't happened so I expect our league choke up to happen as it has done in the past decade. I'd find it criminal to see Wenger sign a deal before may as he's already stated he wants to see how successful we are first and I agree he should keep to that statement because if we're dragged in to a top 4 battle again he needs to bounce.
