Did anyone hear Simon Jordan's comments last night in
Response to Ross's telephone call to Sky Sports.

"Absolutely stupid, selfish if he and his mates had put more
effort on the park, Brian wouldn't have been sacked".
Said in relation to Ross he's not bigger than the club no one is.

Like many I liked Brian but I was increasingly embarrassed by
The hammerings and run of losses we incurred.

No one wanted it to end this way, but in times past those series of results
Would have meant the sack for most managers.

I believe if McDermott had still been in the playoffs he would
Still be the manager. The quality isn't there and for the last two
Months the team have given up. This is not acceptable to us Leeds fans
So why should a new owner accept it. Have we not always yearned for someone with money to right the Elland Road ship who knows what lies ahead with gfh we were drifting in mediocre waters. The chairman at the start made a Ratners statement saying he didn't expect promotion for a few years and that set the barrier low. Ridiculous statement to give the fans not to expect promotion as a Leeds fan I expect to be going for something every year otherwise why bother supporting the club and as for the players why bother giving 100% when you know the club are ambivalent about success. All that Looking forward not back statements ring very hollow this morning.

I like all the rest of you want only the best for the club. I'm not sure this new guy is what we need but I know GFH with no ambition is definitely not.

Going back to my first point I think Simon Jordan told us a few home truths.
