Please remember; you are not the sort of club to fire managers. You give them plenty of time to get things right. That's the kind of club you are. If you keep Moyes there, he will be setting you up for two decades of dominance, starting in about 3 years time.

We have sacked managers in the past however had the best for 27 years therefore gained a reputation for not sacking managers.

I didn't think we played too badly today. This season now is about getting the team to play well together and I thought we managed that better than we have previously.

The defence still needs work, but I think that the higher line we played was fairly effective for most of the game. It's a bit of a blow to lose 2 defenders the day after the window shuts though.

No champions league and rvp, Rooney and mata will be off
