Vieira Situation All Over Again

As much as I love Fabregas and thought he was the best all round midfielder in the world at the moment, I cant blame him for heading home, the only thing I'm annoyed about is the fee, just cannot see how we can sell him for that price when players like Andy Carrol and Javier Pastore who are both largely unproven, especially in comparison to Fabregas are going for more money.

However, enough of the negatives, my main point is that a few years back when Vieira left most supporters were very worried and yet young Cesc stepped up. (and before you say anything about not winning anything in that time, I really don't think it was down to Fabregas, more to do with other players, luck etc). So this season, and to some extent already I cant help but feel Jack's going to do the same and possibly even outplay Fabregas if he gets the chance as Fabregas did when he played against Juventus with Vieira in the centre of the park.

Btw, this doesn't mean I don't think we need signings, just think we need to try and look on the bright side of things.
