Lets make it double figures!!!!

An incredible achievement to get 9 wins on the bounce in any league, not to mention this crazy Championship.
No one can get near us right now and although 99% of City fans know we have not done the job "yet" deep down we know it would take an incredible turn of form to blow it now.
We will lose more games for sure this season but the squad has a totally different mental strength and togetherness to that of last season so there will be no repeat of the winless 10+ games again Im certain.
Great to be a Foxes fan right now!

Got out of bed and checked the league tables to make sure I hadn't been dreaming. The only negative thing I would say is that along with our great success we haven't managed to accrue a vastly superior goal difference to the chasing pack, but hopefully it won't matter in the end, very soon we will be up tight and outta sight.

The first game I went to at Filbo, the goalkeeper was Gordon Banks. Which is a roundabout way of saying that I'm of an age when I've seen enough seasons crumble at the last gasp to think that things are anything like settled with 17 matches to go.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's a great run, I'm loving it, and I'm feeling pretty optimistic that NP has shaped a side with the resilience to keep it up. But I'm not going to even begin to relax until we're 13 points clear of the third-placed side and they have just *four* matches left to play.

Well nothing is guaranteed but it would have to be a worse run that last season to see us miss out.

Looking at the stats no team has been on this run or amassed this amount of points and not gone up. It's never happened

I still think there are some very good teams lurking down there who have the potential to go on a similar run, so I'm not as confident as I felt about the League 1 season, despite us being further ahead. No doubt we're big favourites though.

As for the run, I'd love to see the perfect 10 against Watford before it inevitably comes to an end against Forest anyway...

Yeah 10 would be awesome and would equal the best run in this division in the modern era. There are some excellent candidates for promotion but we are getting results against them that's the difference

"no team has been on this run or amassed this amount of points and not gone up. It's never happened"

Sure, but there's always a first, and it's not as if we don't have form for setting records like that. I remember how we couldn't lose a fourth FA Cup final because it had never happened. And how we couldn't drop into League 1 with 52 points because it had never happened…

I'm not deliberately trying to be a wet blanket. Our results are giving me confidence. I'd just rather get a bit closer to the finishing line before taking anything for granted.

11 would be good too

Fatfox even when we went down with a record 52 points I don't think many leicester fans were surprised. Writing was on the wall for half the season

A cup final is a 50/50 as we often see

I know what you are saying but the team is on a different planet this season, the writing is on the wall for the right reasons

If we lose 4 games in a row then we could have problems but even then there is more than enough time to get the required 20 points

12 would be nice!
