There have been lots of opinions criticising the experience of Gianluca Fiesta...
Whether he will be the future manager or coach of LUFC, we will know real soon...i believe everyone deserves a chance to show what he can do.
To those who kept praising BM.
What other major clubs has he managed apart from Reading and LUFC...?
At Reading he got sacked and at LUFC, he is again pretty poor
Compared to even Grayson, BM is a rookie...and we gave him a chance.
So lets be fair and give the new regime a chance....what is there to lose especially after all the crap we had gone thru over the few years...
BM experience in club management...

If he puts his money where his gob is then maybe, as for McDermott, he has been the best thing for us since wilko....a proper manager who loves the club, & wants it to succeed genuinely, if the Italian wants the club he also needs us, otherwise it's not gonna work for him......he knows that now....this is NOT Cagliari !

I have to disagree that Mickydee has been our best manager since Wilko.
DOL had Leeds in Europe, he also gave youth a chance and it paid off.
I know Ridsdale was there too, but the manager does what he does, irrespective of Ridsdale.
Personally, I rate McCallister above Mickydee, it was only a run of 5 games that got Macca sacked.
Mickydee had a run of 8 games without a win and only won 15 in 36 games, not exactly an appealing record.

Reading sacked McDermott when they were on 23 points, just 4 from safety. In their last 9 games, they picked up 5 points Yes 5 points out of a possible 27!
I'm confident McDermott would have had a far better finish to the season, however achieving the 17 points they needed to stay up would have been a tough ask with that club. You would also have highly fancied Reading to bounce straight back under Brian (they may do under Adkins, but playoffs looking the likely route).
So in conclusion I believe we were/are/I don't know what the fooks going on, extremely fortunate to have him managing our club!

As nice a fella as some see him as, people have to look past that and look what's best for team and club.
Fans have been calling for it for weeks, now the chance is there.
I doubt BM will be staying.

I agree with Cal (did you ever catch up with "Wise One" on saturday, btw?)
BM is crocked now, thanks to GFH and Cellino, without even a full season in charge.
He's a man of principle (there aren't too many around in English football). He won't be back. He's been treated appallingly and deserves massive compensation (which the club will pay, not GFH or Cellino).
And sadly, after this latest PR debacle, we won't be seeing his like again. We're only going to appeal to the also-rans and has-beens of the football world.
Jesus, I must be depressed!

You don't need loads of experience to be a good manager.
BM was great at Reading - built a team, got them promoted, and as said, he didn't do that badly with them in Premier League.
At Leeds, he's got a different beast and I don't think he expected it. Firstly, the expectation and pressure means it's a lot harder to build a team - we have less patience. Secondly, the funds. The inherited a team of average players, and was promised money to spend, which didn't happen, leaving us with an unbalanced squad.
His signings have been poor overall, the football has been bad and results not great. But if given time to actually build a team, I believe he'd do really well for us.
That's why he's got the support of the fans. He's told us what he wanted to do, and we've bought into that.
Pressure is on him, rightly so, but he can build a team here to get promoted if given time.

If Cellino will run Leeds as he does Caglliari, then no BM will not be building a team at Leeds.
Cellino will take it upon himself to bring in the players he want not what a manager would have wanted. That is why he don’t want a manager, he want a coach And then sack the poor sucker because the coach could not win with his fantastic signing
