Xabi Alonso was not over-rated. Footballers age!

I doubt Herrera would been bossing a Xabi Alonso 3-4 years ago. Herrera is a young 24 year old, while Xabi is 32.

Every central defender plays 10-15 long balls per game, so it's important part of any defenders game... No matter if his name is Ramos, Dante or Laporte. This kid is just brilliant in that department of his game

Alonso is not overrated. He's been a class footballer.

Real really aren't as good as people make out
They rely heavily on their individual players on the break in particularly Ronaldo

Atletic is in brilliant form at the moment... Real won 11 matches in a row in La Liga, and they played brilliant football, but Altletico was just better today.

Herrera fouling everyone & losing the ball, did a few nice things but generally looked poor
