Yep same starting 11 as me.
7 of them could be starting now for us and 4 of the back 5 there, which begs the question why aren't we as good?
When we sold bale Modric VDV for around £120m was they not replaced with the same quality

We're not doing THAT bad. Look at the table. Is it really as bad as you hear everyone say? How about when we finished 8th/11th in the past 10 seasons? Was all this kind of fuss made then?

If Im doing man for man comparison (based on how they are lined up in the OP). The new team wins like 8-6. However I would much rather have the old squad as I think certain individuals (Bale, VDV, Modric) are much better than what we have now. Plus there is more variety in that team.

It's not perfect but I've heard people say that too much upheaval (too many transfers) has caused such erratic form but I think that it was completely necessary. We lost a player who earned us so many points last season and he needed replacing. People say we should just have bought 2 or 3 more expensive players, when we're still struggling with injuries having bought 7. People say we should've bought this player instead of that one, well every player we brought was either the player of the season last season for their team or was highly sought after. It's gonna take time for them to gel, that can be this season. I don't think we'll get top 4, and I hope we don't get Europa. A season without European distraction with this team next season and we could seriously fly.

When we've missed out on Champions League in the past we've lost one or two of our top players and replaced them very well. People forget we lost Berbatov and brought in Modric and Bale. Then we lose Bale and bring in 7 new players, 3/4 might turn out to be top class and we move forward again.

Your squad obviously used to be better, way better. You sold your best players and replaced them with expensive flops. The league is worse though from top to bottom so that helps you lads out.
