Rivalry Order

We've moved into a day and age where rivalries are no longer solely down to location and is actually dictated majorly by the supporters and of course the occasion itself. Through controversies and disagreements rivalries have started to grow and be developed out of nowhere take 'Chelsea Vs Liverpool' for example it grew when Jose and Rafa despised each other and somehow meetings in all competitions became a fateful affair between the 2. Jose's return has seemed reignite that again.

So though history plays plays the biggest part I'd take the rigidity out of my list and base it on what I think is now the order of our strongest rivalries at present.

1. Spurs
2. Man U
3. Chelsea
4. Stoke
5. Liverpool
6. West Ham

Stoke's position is an example of what I feel supporters and controversies have influenced in raising the tension in this fixture. Historically Chelsea would have been above United maybe 2 decades back but obviously the Wenger:Fergie era has added to the classics these 2 previously participated in. Vieira/Keane added to that big time too. The NLD wasn't that much of a worry to us in the past in terms of gaining the result we wanted which had me stupidly questioning their spot but your neighbours will always be your neighbours no matter how annoying they are, they wish we never moved house
