The Frightened One

Been getting the excuses out all week but the media and Chelsea fans will tell you it's mind games anyway let's see if they come off tonight and his approach to the game.

This clown claims City are favourites because 1 team is the finished product and the other is still building like Pellegrini didn't join the same period as Jose. Both have unlimited resources and have million pound squads at their disposal so there's no excuse for either. Plus what's this building about? When have Chelsea ever done that, they've thrown money at every problem they've had don't see how that's changed when about 20 youngsters are on pointless loans. Have they developed a successful loanee before?

They can't use the striker excuse as a reason as to why their not ready whereas we can because at the end of the day if you told them a few years back they'd have a frontline of Torres, Ba & Eto'o you'd believe goals would be scored for absolute fun nobody else's fault they ruin every top striker that comes their way bar Drogba. Eto'o's age plays a factor but they've turned him into a non-footballer now he was one of the highest paid in the world not too long ago.

I'll be cheering on City tonight to put some daylight between the top 2 and them and direct this strictly into a 2 horse race and like Liverpool will be the next to fade. City have improved away from home but doesn't mean dropping further away points is out of the question for them by any means they could actually drop quite a few looking at their fixtures, so a win placing them at the top tonight for a brief period wouldn't scare me so much.

People point to our next to fixtures as possible dropped points as to why a draw would suit us but this is both teams' game in hand tonight anyway so I'd rather 1 team capitalised on possible dropped points from us than 2 teams.

Cfc have spent 1 billion since Roman took over so theres no excuse if they get beat tonight so they should go there and try to win the game tonight.

Jose has been spouting rubbish about City all week, and the funny thing is... all the same stuff he is saying applies to Chelsea as well.

I know that a Chelsea win is better for our league chances but I can't be the only Gooner who would like to see Jose's team get pasted tonight.

They didn't even come to us or OT for the win so I highly doubt he'd do so tonight and if so there's no excuse he really would be a bottler. Like you said £1b spent is ridiculous!

They also might have had the actual players they wanted had they not been so focussed on getting players rivals are interested in just because.....

Would love to see the hypocritical one get smashed and see that classic face he once had in the El Classico

I'd love to see them get pasted of course but I wouldn't if I agreed with you saying a different scenario suits our title chances more...

If aguero was playing I would say city 3-1 but as he is not playing, could be a very even game

Won't be even. City still have 3 other options all stronger than every option Chelsea currently have at the club attacking wise

Chelsea will get Dzeko and Negredo quiet.

Expect the goals to come from midfield runners.

Hazard and Oscar are Chelsea's only hope of a goal.

I expect both teams will score though.

Well, Mourinho didn't look too frightened to me tonight...
