Owners.......should we care?

Ok.....here we go....this is gonna be difficult to put succinctly.

All this talk of owners makes we wonder.....should we care? It's an incredibly complex situation we're in........BUT....if the subject wasn't raised would you care? Results are a pretty major concern of supporting a football club, and when results are good, not much else matters. If the manager gets the players at his disposal to play well, then great. Does he worry about money - or does he coach and manage the players at his disposal or within the realms of a limited budget. That's what you would hope.

All this talk of ownership recently I think has revolved ultimately around money......who's got it. After the Bates years, a lot of Leeds fans were happy to see GFH take over.....main reason being I think that people thought they had money and would invest. Wrong.

Now it seems that GFH have not achieved their goal - getting to the Premier League on no money invested and doing a runner with the money gained.

They are obviously trying to get out to the highest bid. Who that is, is anybody's guess, but let's be clear on this, they don't care who it is. They don't have Leeds Utd on their mind.

That's why I think it's important for us to take a step back and think about what is right for Leeds.....and that is having a United fan base, a decent manager who can work with what he's got, and hopefully owners who have LUFC at heart and maybe can invest a little.

Everyone squabbling about who's best for us and who can do the best job is unfortunately irrelevant as we have no say. Or it seems that way.
