Looks like it's us for 3rd and 4th

I know it's only the opening week of football and Swansea and WBA play more open than probably any side you are likely to find in the PL but I have to admit United and City to me look like world beaters. It is frightening how good City could actually be if they had a decent manager. A front 3 of Balotelli, Aguero and Tevez in my view would be 2nd in the world only to Barca.

I personally feel if we had Silva and Adam Johnson, and Arsenal had Yaya Toure and Aguero both of us would be by far better teams than City. The early points dropped by Chelsea and Arsenal just show why it is imperative to have your transfer business done as early as possible. Referees cost both Arsenal and Chelsea on the weekend, but with better players in our starting XI we could easily have both won, as it is we are playing catch up already.

All I can say is I sure as hell am glad we are playing WBA and Norwich next as opposed to Liverpool and United (no disrespect).

5 years ago the two best teams in England came from London, now I'm afraid that has shifted to Manchester, at least until we address our midfield problem and Wenger dips into the transfer market and spends at least £30m of the Fabregas money.
