Pearson has somehow managed to get us 10 points clear at the top without winning the award!

Let's hope he can keep the run going...

To be honest I don't think NP will care either way if he wins it or not!
If he does he will dedicate it to being a team award and go on to state it wont mean a thing if we fail to get promoted.

He won it last January

Let's face it, if NP doesn't win it the there's something wrong with the system which is invariably 'results based'. There could be some competition from 'arry and Billy though, but they lag a little behind.

'I'm really pleased to have won the award, but I recognise individual accolades such as this as a group achieevment, as you can only be a success in a team sport through collective endeavour.'

Pearson goes on to say that both the players and the backroom staff deserve credit for this award being handed to him, but now it's an award for our achievement last month, and we have to focus on what is available to us this month and keep our current run going so we continue to maintain our league placing which was the primary objective this season.

He is certain to win it,and celebrate with another 3 points tomorrow.
