An ode..

Here is my ode to one Carson Yeung
FA approved (with the help of a bung?)
He promised to sign players with Premier flair
But all that he meant was they'd have nice, shiny hair
80 million quid he promised to splash
and 8,000 brummies squealed "show us the cash"
Rumours abounded! Who would they buy?
But the only new names proved to be "Toni & Guy"
When Yeung mentioned beaufont, blouse were in even deeper
They thought they had signed the Italian keeper
But no new formations! No pass and go!
St Andrews proved nothing but a quick "cut & blo"
Interest was waning. How could budgets be met?
For each ticket bought, a free shampoo and set?
But there was never no money and in the long term
Yeung proved to be as tight as a seventies perm
And off he went home with his tail between legs
That damned gypsy curse! If they'd just bought some pegs!
So who's going to buy Brum? Lead them out from the dark?
The answers quite obvious enter the great Nicky Clarke
