Come on MKD whats wrong with giving us 10k

http://www.expressandstar.com/sport/wolverhampton-wanderers-fc/2014/02/07/wolves-offered-intial-6500-tickets-for-mk-dons-clash/

An initial 6,500 have been given to us for the away match on the 29th March, there has been a massive campaign on twitter called #10k2mk to try and beat the attendance for away fans which is currently set at 7,000 by Coventry.

With a stadium that holds over 30,000 and their average home attendance of 8,500 whats the problem? From what I understand from MKD fans the away end will hold 10k.

There is the possibilty that they will release more tickets for the fixture but from what I can gather it will only be another 500 to take it to the 7,000 that Coventry had.

We will have to wait and see what the final allocation will be, i guess it will be up to us Wolves fans to bombard the ticket office with calls for more tickets when the first allocation is sold out.

We will be purchasing our's at 9am on the 15th March.

Just turn up on the gate

can understand why they wouldn't want 4 times as many away supporters as home supporters, but even with 7,000 there will be 3 times as many. Don't they want the revenue?

The demand will be there the club will be inundated with calls when the 7000 is sold.

The initial allocation is for the lower tier of the North Stand and then when those sell out they extend the allocation to the corners to take it to the 6,500 to 7,000 Coventry had.

I can only presume they want to keep the other areas for home fans and they will probably have their highest support of the season to take the crowd up to over 20,000. But it will be frustrating to see 7 or 8 thousand empty seats we could have sold. But segregation will probably prevent us getting much more than 7,000

They should give their own fans the away end in that case, and let wolves have the 23000 home end !

DJ - "segregation" is probably the issue - which is a shame - but once the corners have gone, then it impacts on existing season ticket holders - and also the way the catering / mezzanine areas work - they can keep the segregation with the corner set aside for away fans - but after that the mezzanine areas cannot be segregated. However if the upper tier is open there would be no problem - but don't know if they are cleared for safety purposes - If you don't have a ticket, just turn up early and buy one on the day - don't see how they can stop people buying on the day - even if its "home" turnstiles - just keep the scarves hidden and speak in your poshest voice - am more than happy to share the ground with fellow fans even if its the opposition

It's about time we allowed supporters to be mixed. We played Leeds a couple of years ago and many Leeds supporters (who are supposed to be trouble makers) sat in with the home supporters, there was NO problems. Come on treat the fans as adults and lets see what happens.
