Blessing in disguise imo.
I think the young lads knocking on the 1st team door (except Sterling) will thrive with the lack of transfer activity. We are gradually building a young team to step straight into to 1st team.
Everyone loves to see a club bringing young players from the academy through but I feel the following players could be the strongest bunch to make the grade in the past 10? 20? years? To be honest \as long as I can remember. Their is probably players I have missed off.
Anyway, the idea behind the thread is for LFC fans to have a chat about the future of LFC.

Totally forgot about Sinclair! seems to have disappeared since making his debut last season.
Not seen to much (any) of Canos, Ojo and Chirivilla

McLaughlin very good player on the flank, not sure on his defending but getting forward is excellent. In load at Barnsley at the moment, out with a hamstring injury with them but should be back in a couple of weeks.

Lloyd Jones, Marc Pelosi, Brad Smith.
The truth is its very difficult to tell who will make it. Injuries will take their toll on some, some won't have the right mentality, some won't improve enough between 16-21.
Its only a few months ago that people were banging on about selling Flanagan because he was 'hopeless'.
Some of the ones that people think are dead certs will never play for us, and some of those who people think are rubbish will go on to make it.
I agree we have a very good crop though

May just be a coincidence but it seems Flanagan's form has improved since he had a chat with Carra. Long story short think Carra told him to play to his own strengths and do what he is good at, which he has done brilliantly!

Yes, we have some talented youngsters coming through, but missing out on the players the manager and the club wanted cannot be categorised as a good thing. It's just inane positivity in my opinion. Nobody knows who will make it. There have been a plethora of players over the years who just haven't been able to make the step up.
Missing out on our targets means more work needs to be done in the summer.

Being an avid watcher of the under-21s,that is a formidable team Hawk-Eye. But Wilson has got to be in the first team surely? Also Dunn? the Welsh goalie? Fantastic line up though.
