Considering where we are in the league

To be honest I'd say this was more concerning than the 8-2. That game was awful, of course, but at the time United were visibly a cut above us and you would have expected them to win, just not by as much as they did. But this Liverpool team are a side we beat comfortably earlier in the season and are missing a lot of important players. Compared to how we've been playing for most of the season, something has gone badly wrong here.

I disagree. We've actually been pretty poor for a while now in the league. I mean we've struggled to beat relegation teams every single week at the emirates.

All it took was a very good attacking team to expose us drastically.
