Does a team go from 4th to winning the league in one season often? If this is not progress I'm not sure what it.

BS argument. Chelsea were barely ahead of us last season and yet they look much more likely to win the league this one.

Here's something to genuinely be positive about: City aren't winning.

If we ended the weekend as it is now:

Chelsea 56
Arsenal 55
City 54
Liverpool 50 - They're in it now.

Then I'd be a lot happier than if City win.

Another happy thought...

We don't have to play Liverpool again this season.

The villa game was crap refereeing decisions and sheer bad luck.

I like you Pengun but that is just bollócks! I mentioned the poor ref decisions on that day and I was slaughtered for "making up excuses" on here. A few months down the line after a great run and suddenly those are the words on everyone's lips. Just proves this board is completely incapable of perspective when it needs it.
