Perspective needed

Mourinho must be doing an evil laugh in his head. Even though they stared the season slow I backed Chelsea as favourites cos of the Mourinho factor.

What a season this is turning to be. I reckon its a 4 horse race with two big horse and two medium sized horse being Arsenal and Liverpool

I trust the team to respond and do a number on utd. 10-0 or 1-0. I don't care. All I want is 3 points which is whatpool got today and sstill 5 points behind us. They were terrific today with great movement. City have to go there and Chelsea I believe.

I'm backing Arsenal. I seriously think the players will react angrily and positively. Remember this time last year we got abused by Bayern. It was a turning point in our season. I reckon this is the same.

It's also worth bearing in mind that after we lost to Villa on the first day of the season most people would have bitten your arm off for 4th. Since then we sign one big player (who hasn't even really hit form so far) and go on a decent run and suddenly everybody's demanding that we win the title. As far as I'm concerned 3rd and a decent stab at the FA Cup (semi-finals or further) would be a successful season in terms of progress. It'd be nice to win the league and we certainly have an opportunity to do so, but that doesn't mean it's a bad season if we don't reach those heights.

Very true and I would be happy a comfortable 2nd or 3rd without the top 4 scrap and a FA Cup this season. Also an indication of progression is nice as well. From scrapping for top 4 to title challengers, you can't go from scrapping 4th to 1st same with Liverpool being 7th to 1st. It's all about progression

We were like foals

We've been very poor for the 1st half a lot lately then come out all guns firing second half. Pool realised this and just blitzed us.
No excuses we were lucky it wasn't double figures. Hopefully the players want to prove a point against Utd.

True but we all have some games when you feel like shiet. Hopefully more games like today happens to Chelsea and City than us

I remember you OP, you were giving it large last week. Saying the league was yours and you would beat Pool and Utd.
