Australia blamed the selectors for the ashes debacle and now India are blaming the coach.. I'd blame the Engald cricketers their to blame..

to be fair To India, having won the world cup, its pretty hard to lift yourself for the rest of the season when they've have achieved what they wanted to this year.
they have come here undercooked which is very much apparent from the results so far.
takes nothing away from how we've played this year.

He didn't say you wasn't. He is saying that if India can't lift themselves to defend your No.1 status then you don't deserve it... Also, the players put the IPL first which in my eyes is an absolute disgrace

The World Cup is like the Eurovision song contest, long, boring and substandard.
The only good thing is that it is held only every 4 years.
One can understand a country such as SL targeting it as they can never aspire to becoming a great test nation but India should have higher aspirations,
Recently Andy Flower has said winning the 2015 WC is an aspiration but you can be sure he will not exchange being the best test side for a WC title.

I hope people dont under estimate what Fletcher did for us along with Nasser
He is not a bad appointment for India - especially if its true that they are getting to the end of an era
