Have had more than enough

A week ago I wrote an article with the heading "Have had enough". After the Bournemouth match yesterday where we threw away a two goal lead, I am writing another with the heading "Have had more than enough".
On the subject of Bournemouth I wrote an article in December 2012 with the heading "An interesting comparison". You may want to look at it as it 's still so relevant. The reason that Bournemouth came into my Bolton article is that both teams changed their managers at about the same time last season. Whereas there was not much change in Bolton's form, the change at Bournemouth was instantly huge. The new manager at Bournemouth, Eddie Howe, had positive visions for the club. When he took over, the club was on the edge of the relegation zone from Division 1. He said just staying in that Division was not his goal, he wanted promotion to the Championship. He did not say we shall try to get promoted, he said we WILL get promoted and he made sure his team believed this. With the same team he worked miracles, and he did this largely by organisation and motivation, two things that DF is not capable of.
He got his promotion to the Championship and now Bournemouth are comfortably above Bolton with a mid table finish a realistic objective. To get the season going Howe did not have friendlies against teams such as Rotherham, Shrewsbury and Carlisle like we did. Howe said that his team would play Real Madrid. Most people thought that would be impossible and at best they thought that it would mean going over to Madrid to play their reserve team. That was not what Howe had in mind at all, he brought the first team, including Ronaldo, over to Bournemouth to play a friendly match .Can you imagine the motivational effect on both the team and the supporters to start the season in this way? Can you imagine DF doing that? He HAS to go along with Gartside.
Don't worry I am not going to come on here every week spreading doom and gloom, this is possibly going to be my last article until things change. I do not feel I can support Bolton any more at the moment. Maybe I should start to support Bournemouth!!!!!

You must support BWFC if it is truly your team, you cannot chop & change dependant on results, fair enough if you don't want to renew your season ticket (As i did) or you may not go to games in protest that is understandable, but to go and support another team who may be doing a little better is a no no.
I like many other posters on here have seen us play in the old third & fourth divisions but remain wanderers fans because its our team, managers & chairmen come & go but we should all be consistent in our support brassed off or not.

I thought the new club hierarchy at Bournemouth picked out the friendly with Real Madrid not Howe.

Of course the old regime was utterly mental and it is since they've been bought out by a rather rich Russian bloke that they've had an upturn in fortunes. Culminating in the homesick Howe leaving Burnley and returning to Bournemouth.

Things change but without support we will be a long time coming back.

I believe we will come back but it's not going to be a quick fix. First we need to get rid of Dougie and his mates and then Gartside.

If need be will have to start next season with the few old heads that deserve to keep their place and the up and coming youngsters. It won't be easy but what other options have we got. As I see it none, if Eddie can't afford to buy decent players we will have to play with what we have.

I have deleted the last comment I made so as to confirm that I shall continue to support Bolton even though the club does not deserve support at the moment. However I do not see the point for me continuing on JA606. Everything that is said is negative and it has all been said over and over again and nobody at the club takes any notice. So, as there is no point in repeating negative statements and there is nothing positive to say, there is no point in saying anything

This forum isn't for the benefit of the club, they never were likely to even come on this forum never mind take any notice.

The forum is for like minded people who support BWFC regardless as to where we are in terms of football. We are always going to get similar comments and to some extent similar articles, It's inevitable whether or not we are doing well or badly. You yourself has just followed the present trend but if you stay you can write almost anything you like.

I find your reason for saying there is no point of you continuing on ja606 a little simplistic as the mood could change and probably will when things change at the club. This situation can't last forever but in the meantime you as always have the right to abstain from posting. Very sad in my opinion.

Not sure saying nothing is the answer Mike... As SWIE says, this board isn't read by the club, just somewhere we can vent our frustrations and anger. In times gone by its a place to celebrate, and one day we will do it again....

I'd be interested to know if any BWFC fans have any plans to protest against Gartside and if any of the many Bolton sites would lead it? A collective group of fans over many sites organising a protest (peaceful), could mean these sites are useful...

Just booked a flight to the island... I need a drink.

Hi Mallorca, I'm not exactly on the waggon but for some reason I just don't feel like drinking much. The problem is I'm sick of drinking lemon tea and other non alcoholic beverages, any suggestions?
