2 points better off than we were at this stage last season. Yet it feels like we have gone backwards. Back in the redknapp days when teams came to whl we would pepper the oppositions goal with shots and teams would only leave whl with something if thier goalkeeper had a blinder. Now we struggle to make chances at all. Today everton out played us and played the better football, im not used to seeing teams play the better football especially at whl.
We know everton are a good team but our first effort on goal was not until the 60th min, that is not acceptable. We may still have our best season ever but whatever we achieve we do not have that style and swagger in our football as we had 3 years ago.

Liverpool have yet to have a blip, every team has one at some point during a season and theirs will come at some stage.
Everton are probably in their blip right now, and Spurs have been in a blip all season.
United can just about be written off.
It will probably come down to who gets the most good luck and key decisions going their way, so that means Liverpool for 4th imo.

We can argue our blip came at the christmas period against city and chelsea, and then we have recovered since.

I really don't think we'll get top 4. Liverpool are playing too well, have no European football, and have that game against us at their place.
I know we got the win but I do feel Sherwood is a little out of his depth tactically which I think will count against us a few times before the end as well.

It appears ours are equivalent to the very best form of other teams.
Which is why we cannot see them.
